Hi, I am Tobia.
I've spent the last ten-plus years photographing life: concerts, sports games, conventions, birthday parties and graduations, small intimate weddings and proposals. The moment around the posed shot interests me more than the shot itself. The laugh nobody staged. The detail everyone else would walk past. The second before or after the "official" photo, when everyone forgets a camera is even there.
That's the part I'm actually good at. I make people feel at ease fast, the kind of ease you'd feel taking a selfie with your best friend, and it shows: grandma stops holding her breath, the shy kid starts smiling, the toddler who was overwhelmed two minutes ago somehow ends up with the best photo in the whole gallery. What you get back is a set of photos you actually want printed and hung on your walls, the kind that catch you off guard months later because you forgot you ever looked that happy with your baby. That's the whole point. It should feel like being there again.
