FAQ
How did you get into Photography?
My dad was into photography and video long before I ever picked up a camera myself. He documented everything on Polaroids, our vacations and the ordinary weekends in between, just because he wanted to hold onto it. It took me a while to notice, but watching him do that taught me what I actually want out of a photo: something you can look at years later and still feel is real, not something staged and posed for the camera.
I loved being on the other side of a lens even as a kid, with a plastic Barbie camera that barely worked. That's the small start of the same instinct that eventually got me a real one. I capture photos because I want people to have proof, years down the line, that a moment actually happened the way it felt. That's it. That's the whole reason.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based around Atlanta. Buckhead, Lawrenceville, and Buford are home base. From there I cover most of North Atlanta (Alpharetta, Braselton, Cumming, Dacula, Dawsonville, Duluth, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Johns Creek, Marietta, Milton, Roswell, Suwanee) and Northeast Georgia (Athens, Watkinsville, Winterville, Bogart, Winder, Statham, Monroe, Jefferson, Commerce). Outside that range, just reach out, and we can figure it out.
When will we get our photos?
Turnaround depends on the session. Portraits come back in 2–3 days, events in 3–4 days, and small weddings or proposals in 5–6 days, since there's more to go through.
The photos are delivered through an online gallery where you will be able to download all the photos in full resolution, share with family, or order prints directly
Why do you only photograph small Weddings?
I chose small weddings on purpose. A big wedding pulls a photographer in twenty directions at once, and the bigger the guest list, the more the day turns into a checklist instead of something you actually watch happen. Small weddings let me stay close enough to catch the moment nobody staged, not the one recreated for the camera.
There's also the couples I actually want to work with. Plenty of them can't afford, or don't want, a full-day production with a ten-person vendor team, and I'd rather show up for exactly the part of the day that matters most to them and do that part well, instead of spreading myself across a package that doesn't fit their day. Small weddings let me give real attention instead of thin coverage, and that's exactly why I chose them.
